Project Description
This vertical motion ad was created to demonstrate high-end product visualization and cinematic advertising flow. The video showcases a skincare cream product using advanced lighting, soft surface simulation, and vertical aspect optimization for mobile-first platforms like Instagram Reels.
Problem
The goal was to visualize a cosmetic product in a way that feels clean, premium, and emotionally aligned with skincare branding while maintaining visual clarity in short-form video.Solution
The tube model was shaded in Blender with soft gloss + metallic highlights and placed within a curved stage with projected palm gobo shadows. A 3-camera rig and multiple area lights simulate a daylight shoot, while animation timing and cut transitions were finalized in After Effects.Impact
The final video serves as a strong portfolio ad prototype for real-world skincare or beauty brands. It demonstrates creative direction, cinematic lighting, soft product motion, and mobile-first ad formatting. My Responsibilities
- Modeled and textured the cream tube product using custom shaders in Blender.
- Designed a dynamic soft-stage background with palm leaf gobo projections and realistic area lighting.
- Used multiple camera angles and precise focal depth to simulate high-end product shoot.
- Composited label art and brand identity using Photoshop and projected via UV maps.
- Final color grading, typography, and music timing were done in After Effects for a reel-ready result.
